Whenever the Prophet ﷺ rose for prayer, he would wipe the faces of his companions before saying the opening takbir. Once I had some perfume on me, so the Prophet ﷺ wiped the faces of his companions but left me out.I went back, washed it off, and then came to the next prayer. He wiped my face and said, "He has returned to the goodness of his religion, the high one. He has repented, and the sky has poured down rain."
