The Prophet ﷺ used to wipe our faces during prayer and bless us. One day he came and wiped the faces of those on my right and left but passed me by. This was because I had visited a sister of mine and she had rubbed my face with something yellow. I was told, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ only left you because of what he saw on your face."So I went to a well, climbed down into it, and washed myself. Then I attended another prayer, and the Prophet ﷺ passed by me, wiped my face, blessed me, and said, "He has returned to the goodness of his religion, the noble one. He has repented, and the sky has poured forth."

Its chain of transmission is daif due to Yunus bin Khabab, and Haythami went to excess regarding him. He said in 5/155, "It contains Yunus bin Khabab," and said, "Daif and khabith." He said in Taqrib, "Truthful but errs, accused of holding Rafd beliefs." It is found in Bukhari's Adab and Sunan. The hadith is like the one before it.
