Waki sometimes said, meaning Thaqafi, and at other times did not say "from his father," that a woman came to the Prophet ﷺ with a young son of hers who was afflicted with madness. The Prophet ﷺ said, "Come out, enemy of Allah, I am the Messenger of Allah." The boy then recovered. She presented him with two rams, some dried curd, and some clarified butter. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Take the dried curd, the butter, and one of the two rams, and return the other to her."
حدثنا وكيع حدثنا الأعمش عن المنهال بن عمرو
وكيع مرة يعني الثقفي ولم يقل مرة عن أبيه أن امرأة جاءت إلى النبي ﷺ معها صبي لها به لمم فقال النبي ﷺ اخرج عدو الله أنا رسول الله قال فبرأ فأهدت إليه كبشين وشيئا من أقط وشيئا من سمن قال فقال رسول الله ﷺ خذ الأقط والسمن وأحد الكبشين ورد عليها الآخر
