We prayed the Fajr prayer with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ at the Khayf Mosque, and he mentioned the hadith. Sharik said in his version of the hadith that one of the two men said, "Messenger of Allah, ask forgiveness for me."He replied, "May Allah forgive you."
حدثنا يزيد بن هارون أخبرنا هشام بن حسان وشعبة وشريك عن يعلى بن عطاء
صلينا مع رسول الله ﷺ صلاة الفجر في مسجد الخيف فذكر الحديث قال قال شريك في حديثه فقال أحدهما يا رسول الله استغفر لي قال غفر الله لك
