He prayed the dawn prayer with the Prophet ﷺ, then he mentioned the hadith, saying, "Then the people rushed forward to take his hand and wipe their faces with it. I took his hand and wiped my face with it, and I found it cooler than snow and more fragrant than musk."
حدثنا أسود بن عامر وأبو النضر قالا حدثنا شعبة قال أبو النضر عن يعلى بن عطاء وقال أسود أخبرني يعلى بن عطاء قال سمعت
أنه صلى مع النبي ﷺ الصبح فذكر الحديث قال ثم ثار الناس يأخذون بيده يمسحون بها وجوههم قال فأخذت بيده فمسحت بها وجهي فوجدتها أبرد من الثلج وأطيب ريحا من المسك
