The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever leaves behind a debt or dependents, their care falls to me. Whoever leaves behind wealth, it goes to his heir. I am the guardian of whoever has no guardian, I inherit his wealth and pay his ransom. The maternal uncle is the guardian of whoever has no guardian, he inherits his wealth and pays his ransom."

قال رسول الله ﷺ من ترك دينا أو ضيعة فإلي ومن ترك مالا فلوارثه وأنا مولى من لا مولى له أرث ماله وأفك عانه والخال مولى من لا مولى له يرث ماله ويفك عانه
