One of us, during the time of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, would take his brother's camel on the condition that he would give him half of whatever spoils he gained, with the other half for himself. It would even happen that one of us would receive only the arrowhead and the feathers as his share, while the other received the shaft.Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to me, "Ruwayfi, perhaps your life will be prolonged. So inform the people that whoever knots his beard, or wears a bowstring as a necklace, or cleans himself after relieving nature with animal dung or bone, Muhammad ﷺ disowns him."
حدثنا حسن بن موسى الأشيب قال أخبرنا ابن لهيعة قال حدثنا عياش بن عباس عن شييم بن بيتان قال حدثنا
كان أحدنا في زمان رسول الله ﷺ يأخذ جمل أخيه على أن يعطيه النصف مما يغنم وله النصف حتى أن أحدنا ليطير له النصل والريش والآخر القدح ثم قال لي رسول الله ﷺ يا رويفع لعل الحياة ستطول بك فأخبر الناس أنه من عقد لحيته أو تقلد وترا أو استنجى برجيع دابة أو عظم فإن محمدا ﷺ منه بريء
