There were words exchanged between me and Ammar bin Yasir, and I spoke harshly to him. Ammar set off to complain about me to the Prophet ﷺ. Khalid then came, complaining about Ammar to the Prophet ﷺ. Khalid kept speaking harshly about him, growing only more severe, while the Prophet ﷺ remained silent and did not speak.Ammar wept and said, "Messenger of Allah, do you not see him?"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ raised his head and said, "Whoever shows enmity to Ammar, Allah will show enmity to him, and whoever hates Ammar, Allah will hate him."Khalid said, "I left, and there was nothing dearer to me than gaining Ammar's pleasure. I met him, and he was reconciled with me."Abdullah said, "I heard it from Ubayy twice."
حدثنا يزيد بن هارون أخبرنا العوام بن حوشب عن سلمة بن كهيل عن علقمة
كان بيني وبين عمار بن ياسر كلام فأغلظت له في القول فانطلق عمار يشكوني إلى النبي ﷺ فجاء خالد وهو يشكوه إلى النبي ﷺ قال فجعل يغلظ له ولا يزيد إلا غلظة والنبي ﷺ ساكت لا يتكلم فبكى عمار وقال يا رسول الله ألا تراه فرفع رسول الله ﷺ رأسه قال من عادى عمارا عاداه الله ومن أبغض عمارا أبغضه الله قال خالد فخرجت فما كان شيء أحب إلي من رضا عمار فلقيته فرضي قال عبد الله سمعته من أبي مرتين

Its isnad is sahih, all its narrators being reliable and firmly established, and Alqama is Ibn Qays Nakhai, the reliable, firmly established jurist. Hakim graded the hadith sahih in 3/390-391, and Dhahabi agreed with him, and Haythami said in 9/293, "Its narrators are the narrators of Sahih [Bukhari and Muslim]."
