Abdul-Rahman bin Aish reported,

One of the companions of the Prophet ﷺ reported that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ came out to them one morning in good spirits, his face beaming with light.We said, "Messenger of Allah, we see you in good spirits, your face beaming with light."He said, "And why should I not be? My Lord came to me last night in the most beautiful form and said, 'Muhammad.'I replied, 'Here I am, my Lord, at Your service.'He asked, 'What are the highest assembly disputing about?'I said, 'I do not know, my Lord.'He asked this twice or three times. Then He placed His palms between my shoulders, and I felt their coolness between my breasts, until everything in the heavens and the earth became clear to me."Then he recited this verse, "And thus did We show Ibrahim the kingdom of the heavens and the earth, that he might be among those who have certainty" [Anam 6:75]."Then He said, 'Muhammad, what are the highest assembly disputing about?'I said, 'About the expiations.'He asked, 'And what are the expiations?'I said, 'Walking on foot to congregational prayers, sitting in the mosque after the prayers, and completing the ablution thoroughly despite hardships.'He said, 'Whoever does that will live in goodness, die in goodness, and be free of his sins as on the day his mother bore him. And among the ranks are kind speech, spreading the greeting of peace, feeding others, and praying at night while people sleep.'He said, 'Muhammad, when you pray, say, O Allah, I ask You for the doing of good deeds, the abandoning of evils, the love of the poor, and that You forgive me. And when You intend a trial for the people, take me to You without being subjected to the trial.'"

عن بعض أصحاب النبي ﷺ أن رسول الله ﷺ خرج عليهم ذات غداة وهو طيب النفس مسفر الوجه أو مشرق الوجه قلنا يا رسول الله إنا نراك طيب النفس مسفر الوجه أو مشرق الوجه فقال وما يمنعني وأتاني ربي عز وجل الليلة في أحسن صورة قال يا محمد قلت لبيك ربي وسعديك قال فيم يختصم الملأ الأعلى قلت لا أدري أي رب قال ذلك مرتين أو ثلاثا قال فوضع كفيه بين كتفي فوجدت بردها بين ثديي حتى تجلى لي ما في السموات وما في الأرض ثم تلا هذه الآية {وكذلك نري إبراهيم ملكوت السموات والأرض وليكون من الموقنين} ثم قال يا محمد فيم يختصم الملأ الأعلى قال قلت في الكفارات قال وما الكفارات قلت المشي على الأقدام إلى الجماعات والجلوس في المسجد خلاف الصلوات وإبلاغ الوضوء في المكاره قال من فعل ذلك عاش بخير ومات بخير وكان من خطيئته كيوم ولدته أمه ومن الدرجات طيب الكلام وبذل السلام وإطعام الطعام والصلاة بالليل والناس نيام قال يا محمد إذا صليت فقل اللهم إني أسألك الطيبات وترك المنكرات وحب المساكين وأن تتوب علي وإذا أردت فتنة في الناس فتوفني غير مفتون
