Ibrahim bin Abdullah bin Qariz reported,

He visited Abdul-Rahman bin Awf while he was ill, and Abdul-Rahman said to him, "May ties of kinship be kept with you. The Prophet ﷺ said that Allah said, 'I am the Most Merciful (al-Rahman). I created the womb (al-rahim) and derived its name from My own. Whoever upholds it, I will uphold him, and whoever severs it, I will sever him,'" or he said, "'whoever cuts it off, I will cut him off.'"
