The Prophet ﷺ said, "Whoever frightens the people of Madinah unjustly, Allah will frighten him, and upon him will be the curse of Allah, the angels, and all of mankind. No compensation or substitute will be accepted from him."

Its isnad is sahih. Sulayman bin Dawud al-Abbasi al-Hashimi is trustworthy, a distinguished jurist, mentioned many times before. Ismail bin Jafar bin Abu Kathir al-Zarqi al-Ansari is trustworthy, firm, and well known. The hadith has appeared before at 16515.
