Abdullah bin Zayd reported,

He was present with the Prophet ﷺ at the place of sacrifice along with a man from the Ansar. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ distributed the sacrificial animals, but neither he nor his companion received anything. So the Prophet ﷺ shaved his head into his garment and gave it to him, distributing some of it among Some men, and he clipped his nails and gave them to his companion. His hair is still with us, dyed with henna and katam.
