Abdullah bin Zayd reported,

He related that he witnessed the Prophet ﷺ at the place of sacrifice along with a man from Quraysh while he was distributing the sacrificial animals. Neither he nor his companion received any share of them. So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ shaved his head into a cloth and gave it to him, and he distributed it among some men. Then he clipped his fingernails and gave them to his companion. He said, "It is still with us, dyed with henna and katam," meaning his hair.
