The Messenger of Allah ﷺ went out to the prayer ground and prayed for rain. He faced the qiblah, turned his cloak inside out, and prayed two rakahs.Sufyan explained that turning the cloak meant placing the right side on the left and the left side on the right.
قال حدثنا سفيان عن عبد الله بن أبي بكر بن محمد بن عمرو بن حزم سمع
أن رسول الله ﷺ خرج إلى المصلى واستسقى فاستقبل القبلة وقلب رداءه وصلى ركعتين قال سفيان قلب الرداء جعل اليمين الشمال والشمال اليمين
