The Prophet ﷺ performed ablution.Sufyan said, "Yahya bin Saeed narrated to us from Amr bin Yahya seventy-four years ago, and I questioned him about it a little after that. Yahya was older than him." Sufyan said, "I heard three hadiths from him."So he washed his hands twice, his face three times, and wiped his head twice.Ubayy said, "I heard it from Sufyan three times saying that he washed his feet twice. Once he said he wiped his head one time, and twice he said he wiped his head twice."
قال حدثنا سفيان قال حدثنا عمرو بن يحيى بن عمارة بن أبي حسن المازني الأنصاري عن أبيه
أن النبي ﷺ توضأ قال سفيان حدثنا يحيى بن سعيد عن عمرو بن يحيى منذ أربع وسبعين سنة وسألته بعد ذلك بقليل وكان يحيى أكبر منه قال سفيان سمعت منه ثلاثة أحاديث فغسل يديه مرتين ووجهه ثلاثا ومسح برأسه مرتين قال أبي سمعته من سفيان ثلاث مرات يقول غسل رجليه مرتين وقال مرة مسح برأسه مرة وقال مرتين مسح برأسه مرتين
