He heard the Prophet ﷺ say, "Whoever takes by force a handspan of land, it will be encircled around his neck from seven earths."Muamar said, "It reached me from Zuhri, though I did not hear it from him directly, that he added to this hadith, 'And whoever is killed defending his property is a martyr.'"
حدثنا عبد الرزاق حدثنا معمر عن الزهري عن طلحة بن عبد الله بن عوف عن عبد الرحمن بن سهل
أنه سمع النبي ﷺ يقول من سرق من الأرض شبرا طوقه من سبع أرضين قال معمر وبلغني عن الزهري ولم أسمعه منه زاد في هذا الحديث ومن قتل دون ماله فهو شهيد
