Abdullah bin Zalem reported,

Mughira bin Shuba delivered a sermon in which he disparaged Ali. Saeed bin Zayd then went out and said, "Are you not astonished at this man insulting Ali ? I bear witness concerning the Messenger of Allah ﷺ that we were on Hira, or Uhud, when the Prophet ﷺ said, 'Be firm, Hira,' or 'Uhud, for upon you stands none but a truthful one or a martyr.'"The Prophet ﷺ then named the ten. He named Abu Bakr, Umar, Uthman, Ali, Talha, Zubayr, Saad, and Abdul-Rahman bin Awf, and he named himself, Saeed.

عن عبد الله بن ظالم قال

خطب المغيرة بن شعبة فنال من علي فخرج سعيد بن زيد فقال ألا تعجب من هذا يسب عليا رضي الله عنه أشهد على رسول الله ﷺ أنا كنا على حراء أو أحد فقال النبي ﷺ اثبت حراء أو أحد فإنما عليك صديق أو شهيد فسمى النبي ﷺ العشرة فسمى أبا بكر وعمر وعثمان وعليا وطلحة والزبير وسعدا وعبد الرحمن بن عوف وسمى نفسه سعيدا
