I came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ with a group from Mazina, and we pledged allegiance to him while his shirt was unbuttoned. I gave him my pledge, then slipped my hand through the opening of his shirt and touched the seal of prophethood.Urwa said, "I never saw Muawiya nor his father, in winter or in summer, except with their buttons undone. They never fastened them at all."
قال حدثنا هاشم بن القاسم قال حدثنا أبو خيثمة عن عروة بن عبد الله بن قشير الجعفي قال حدثني
أتيت رسول الله ﷺ في رهط من مزينة فبايعنا وإن قميصه لمطلق فبايعته فأدخلت يدي من جيب القميص فمسست الخاتم قال عروة فما رأيت معاوية ولا أباه شتاء ولا حرا إلا مطلقي أزرارهما لا يزران أبدا
