The Prophet ﷺ said, "Whoever finds dates, let him break his fast with them. If he does not find dates, let him break his fast with water, for water is purifying."
حدثنا محمد بن جعفر قال حدثنا شعبة عن عاصم عن حفصة
عن النبي ﷺ أنه قال من وجد تمرا فليفطر عليه فإن لم يجد تمرا فليفطر على الماء فإن الماء طهور
