The Prophet ﷺ said, "Every boy is tied to his aqiqah, so shed blood on his behalf and remove the harm from him."
قال حدثنا عفان حدثنا همام حدثنا قتادة عن ابن سيرين
أن النبي ﷺ قال مع الغلام عقيقته فأهريقوا عنه الدم وأميطوا عنه الأذى
Its isnad is sahih. Hammam is Ibn Yahya bin Dinar Awdhi, a trustworthy narrator mentioned earlier, and the hadith has already appeared at 16178.
