I heard the Prophet ﷺ mention women and admonish concerning them. He said, "Why does one of you strike his wife when he may well lie with her by the end of the day or the end of the night?"
قال حدثنا وكيع عن هشام عن أبيه
سمعت النبي ﷺ يذكر النساء فوعظ فيهن وقال علام يضرب أحدكم امرأته ولعله أن يضاجعها من آخر النهار أو آخر الليل
