Saad bin Abu Waqqas reported,

I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ giving the salam to his right and to his left.

حدثنا يزيد أنبأنا أبو معشر عن موسى بن عقبة

عن عامر بن سعد عن أبيه قال

رأيت رسول الله ﷺ يسلم عن يمينه وعن شماله
