He informed him that two brothers from Banu Mughira met Majma bin Yazid al-Ansari, and he said, "I bear witness that the Prophet ﷺ commanded that no neighbor should prevent his neighbor from fixing a wooden beam into his wall."The one who had taken the oath said, "My brother, I know that judgment will be in your favor, but I have already sworn an oath. So place a column next to my wall."The other did so, and fixed the beam into the column.Ibn Jurayj said, Amr said, "I myself saw that."
حدثنا مكي بن إبراهيم قال أخبرنا عبد الملك بن جريج عن عمرو بن دينار أن هشام بن يحيى أخبره أن
أخبره أن أخوين من بني المغيرة لقيا مجمع بن يزيد الأنصاري فقال إني أشهد أن النبي ﷺ أمر أن لا يمنع جار جاره أن يغرز خشبة في جداره فقال الحالف أي أخي قد علمت أنك مقضي لك وقد حلفت فاجعل أسطوانا دون جداري ففعل الآخر فغرز في الأسطوان خشبة قال ابن جريج قال عمرو وأنا نظرت إلى ذلك
