He heard the Prophet ﷺ saying to a group of people, "Whoever affirms the oneness of Allah the Exalted and rejects what is worshipped besides Him, his property and his blood become inviolable, and his reckoning is with Allah ."Ubayy said, Yazid narrated this to us at Wasit and Baghdad, saying, "He heard the Prophet ﷺ."
Its isnad is sahih. Abu Malik Ashjai is trustworthy according to them, and he is Saad bin Tariq Kufi, who narrated from his father and from Anas. Ibn Main, Ajli, and Ibn Hibban rated him trustworthy, while Abu Hatim and Nasai said, "There is no harm in him." Muslim narrated the hadith in 1/53, number 23, in the Book of Faith, regarding the command to fight the people until they say "There is no god but Allah." Ibn Abu Shayba also narrated it in 10/123.
