He used to relate that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ led us in a prayer in which he recited Surah Rum, and part of it became confused for him. He then said, "Satan only confused the recitation for us because of people who come to the prayer without wudu. So when you come to the prayer, perform your wudu well."
