The Prophet ﷺ. Yazid said, I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "Pray Fajr at first light, for that brings greater reward," or "greater reward for it."
حدثنا يزيد قال أخبرنا محمد بن إسحاق قال أنبأنا ابن عجلان عن عاصم بن عمر عن محمود بن لبيد
عن النبي ﷺ قال يزيد سمعت رسول الله ﷺ يقول أصبحوا بالصبح فإنه أعظم للأجر أو لأجرها
Its isnad is sahih. Asim bin Umar bin Qatada is the imam and author of works on the military expeditions, from Madinah, and his hadith is accepted by the group. Muhammad bin Labid had a documented sighting of the Prophet and is well known. The hadith was narrated by Abu Dawud, 1/115, no. 424, in the book of prayer, on the time of the dawn prayer, and Tirmidhi, 1/289, no. 154, in the book of prayer, on what has been said about praying the dawn prayer in the light, and Nasai, 1/272, no. 548, and Ibn Majah, 1/221, no. 672, and Darimi, 1/301, no. 1217, and Ibn Hibban, 89, no. 263, in al-Mawarid.
