I prayed with Saad, and I placed my hands like this — Yahya described the tatbiq, placing the hands together between the knees during ruku. Saad struck my hands and said, "We used to do this, but we were commanded to raise our hands to the knees."

Its isnad is sahih. Ismail is Ibn Abu Khalid. Zubayr bin Adi Hamadani Yami is the judge of Rayy. He is a trustworthy and firmly reliable tabii, and he was among the devoted worshippers. The hadith was also narrated by the authors of the six books, as in al-Muntaqa 944 and Dhakhair al-Mawarith 2092.
