The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "For a man's belly to be filled with pus is better for him than to be filled with poetry."
حدثنا يحيى عن شعبة عن قتادة عن يونس بن جبير
قال رسول الله ﷺ لأن يمتلئ جوف الرجل قيحا خير من أن يمتلئ شعرا
Its isnad is sahih, and it is a repetition of 1535.
