I witnessed the sermon of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ at Mina. Among the things he said in his sermon was, "It is not lawful for a man to take from his brother's wealth except what he gives willingly."When I heard that, I said, "Messenger of Allah, what do you think if I come across my cousin's sheep and take one of them and slaughter it, would there be any sin upon me for that?"He replied, "If you find one of them carrying a knife and a fire-striker, do not touch it."

شهدت خطبة رسول الله ﷺ بمنى فكان فيما خطب به أن قال ولا يحل لامرئ من ذأف أخيه إلا ما طابت به نفسه قال فلما سمعت ذلك قلت يا رسول الله أرأيت لو لقيت غنم ابن عمي فأخذت منها شاة فاحترزتها هل علي في ذلك شيء قال إن لقيتها نعجة تحمل شفرة وزنادا فلا تمسها
