A man asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, "What if someone attacks me?"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ told him to remind the attacker of Allah, instructing him to do so three times. "If he refuses, then fight him. If he kills you, you will be in Paradise, and if you kill him, he will be in the Fire."
حدثنا يعقوب حدثنا عبد العزيز بن المطلب المخزومي عن أخيه الحكم بن المطلب عن أبيه
سأل سائل رسول الله ﷺ فقال إن عدا علي عاد فقال رسول الله ﷺ ذكره وأمره بتذكيره ثلاث مرات فإن أبى فقاتله فإن قتلك فإنك في الجنة وإن قتلته فإنه في النار
