A man came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and asked him what he should do if someone attacked him aggressively. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ instructed him to warn the attacker off three times.The man asked, "What if he refuses to stop?"He replied, "Then fight him."The man asked, "But what will become of me?"He answered, "If he kills you, you will be in Paradise, and if you kill him, he will be in the Fire."
حدثنا أبو عامر عبد الملك بن عمرو حدثنا عبد العزيز بن المطلب بن عبد الله قال حدثني أخي الحكم بن المطلب عن أبيه
أن رسول الله ﷺ سأله سائل إن عدا علي عاد فأمره أن ينهاه ثلاث مرار قال فإن أبى فأمره بقتاله قال فكيف بنا قال إن قتلك فأنت في الجنة وإن قتلته فهو في النار
