Urwa bin Zubayr reported,

Iyad bin Ghanm and Hisham bin Hakeem bin Hizam passed by the governor of Homs while he was making some Nabateans stand in the sun as punishment. One of them said to the governor, "What is this, so-and-so? I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, 'Allah will punish those who punish people in this world.'"

أن عياض بن غنم وهشام بن حكيم بن حزام مرا بعامل حمص وهو يشمس أنباطا في الشمس فقال أحدهما للعامل ما هذا يا فلان إني سمعت رسول الله ﷺ يقول إن الله تبارك وتعالى يعذب الذين يعذبون الناس في الدنيا
