Abu Yazid reported,

Jabir said to me, I said, "Messenger of Allah, my father left behind a debt owed to some Jews."He replied, "I will come to you on Saturday, Allah willing." This was during the date season, when the palms were being harvested.When Saturday morning came, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ came to me. When he entered while I was at my watering place, he went down to the spring, performed ablution, then stood up and went to the mosque and prayed two rak'ahs. Then I brought him close to a tent of mine, and I spread out for him a coarse blanket of hair and tossed down a saddle cushion of hair stuffed with palm fiber. He reclined on it.I had only waited a short while when Abu Bakr appeared, and it was as though he had observed what the Prophet of Allah ﷺ had done. He performed ablution and prayed two rak'ahs. I had only waited a short while when Umar came. He performed ablution and prayed two rak'ahs, as though he had observed his two companions. Then they entered, and Abu Bakr sat at his head and Umar at his feet.

حدثنا عمر بن سلمة بن أبي يزيد حدثني أبي قال

قال لي جابر قلت يا رسول الله إن أبي ترك دينا ليهود فقال سآتيك يوم السبت إن شاء الله وذلك في زمن التمر مع استجداد النخل فلما كان صبيحة يوم السبت جاءني رسول الله ﷺ فلما دخل علي في ماء لي دنا إلى الربيع فتوضأ ثم قام إلى المسجد فصلى ركعتين ثم دنوت به إلى خيمة لي فبسطت له بجادا من شعر وطرحت خدية من قتب من شعر حشوها من ليف فاتكأ عليها فلم ألبث إلا قليلا حتى طلع أبو بكر وكأنه نظر إلى ما عمل نبي الله ﷺ فتوضأ وصلى ركعتين فلم ألبث إلا قليلا حتى جاء عمر فتوضأ وصلى ركعتين كأنه نظر إلى صاحبيه فدخلا فجلس أبو بكر رضي الله عنه عند رأسه وعمر رضي الله عنه عند رجليه
