The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Lock the doors, tie up the waterskins, cover the vessels, and put out the lamps, for Satan does not open a locked door, untie a fastened skin, or uncover a covered vessel. The little mouse can set fire to the household. Do not let your livestock and children out when the sun has set until the darkness of evening has passed, for the devils are sent forth when the sun sets until the darkness of evening passes."
حدثنا موسى بن داود حدثنا زهير عن أبي الزبير
قال رسول الله ﷺ أغلقوا الأبواب وأوكئوا الأسقية وخمروا الآنية وأطفئوا السرج فإن الشيطان لا يفتح غلقا ولا يحل وكاء ولا يكشف إناء وإن الفويسقة تضرم على أهل البيت ولا ترسلوا فواشيكم وصبيانكم إذا غابت الشمس حتى تذهب فحمة العشاء فإن الشياطين تبعث إذا غابت الشمس حتى تذهب فحمة العشاء
