Jabir bin Abdullah reported,

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "None of you should die except while holding a good opinion of Allah, for indeed there are people whose ill-thoughts of Allah have destroyed them." Allah said, "That thought of yours which you entertained about your Lord has ruined you, and you have become among the losers" [Fussilat 41:23].

عن جابر قال

قال رسول الله ﷺ لا يموتن أحدكم إلا وهو يحسن بالله الظن فإن قوما قد أرداهم سوء ظنهم بالله عز وجل {وذلكم ظنكم الذي ظننتم بربكم أرداكم فأصبحتم من الخاسرين}
