When Abdullah bin Ubayy died, his son came to the Prophet ﷺ and said, "Messenger of Allah, if you do not come to him, we will continue to be reproached on account of this."So the Prophet ﷺ came to him and found that he had already been placed in his grave. He said, "Could you not have called me before you put him in?"So he was taken out of his grave, and the Prophet ﷺ breathed his saliva on him from his head to his foot and clothed him in his shirt.
حدثنا محمد بن بكر حدثنا عبد الملك عن أبي الزبير
لما مات عبد الله بن أبي أتى ابنه النبي ﷺ فقال يا رسول الله إنك إن لم تأته لم نزل نعير بهذا فأتاه النبي ﷺ فوجده قد أدخل في حفرته فقال أفلا قبل أن تدخلوه فأخرج من حفرته فتفل عليه من قرنه إلى قدمه وألبسه قميصه

Its isnad is sahih. Abdullah is Ibn Abu Sulayman al-Arzami, whom they judged trustworthy, and his hadith appears in Muslim.The hadith was narrated by Bukhari 3/138, no. 1270, Fath, in the Book of Funerals, chapter on shrouding in a shirt, and by Muslim 4/214, no. 2773, in the chapter on the characteristics of the hypocrites, at its beginning, and by Tirmidhi 5/279, no. 3097, who said, hasan sahih, and by Nasai 4/37, no. 1901, and by Ibn Majah 1/487, no. 1523, and by Tahawi in Mushkil al-Athar 1/15.
