The Prophet ﷺ passed by a group in the mosque, or in a gathering, who were unsheathing a sword and passing it around among themselves while it was bare. He said, "May Allah curse the one who does this. Did I not forbid you from this? When you unsheathe a sword, let the man sheathe it before he hands it on in that manner."
حدثنا موسى حدثنا ابن لهيعة عن أبي الزبير عن جابر
أن النبي ﷺ مر على قوم في المسجد أو في المجلس يسلون سيفا بينهم يتعاطونه بينهم غير مغمود فقال لعن الله من يفعل ذلك أو لم أزجركم عن هذا فإذا سللتم السيف فليغمده الرجل ثم ليعطه كذلك
