Ahmad in his narration said, Abu Zubayr narrated to us from Jabir who said, Abu Quhafa was brought, or came, to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ in the year of the Conquest, and his head and beard were like thaghama, or like a thaghama plant.Hasan said in his narration that the Prophet ﷺ sent him to his women, saying, "Change this whiteness."Hasan said, Zuhayr said, I asked Abu Zubayr, "Did he say, 'But avoid black'?"He replied, "No."
