The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Wear sandals often, for whenever one of you is wearing sandals, he is, in a sense, riding."
حدثنا حسن حدثنا ابن لهيعة حدثنا أبو الزبير
قال رسول الله ﷺ أكثروا من هذه النعال فإنه لا يزال أحدكم راكبا إذا انتعل
Its isnad is hasan. It is narrated by Muslim, 3/1660, no. 2096, in "Clothing," "The recommendation of wearing sandals." And Tabarani in Al-Kabir, 18/167, no. 375.
