The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When one of you spits, he should not spit to his right or in front of him, but rather to his left or beneath his foot."

أن رسول الله ﷺ قال إذا بصق أحدكم فلا يبصق عن يمينه ولا بين يديه وليبصق عن يساره أو تحت قدمه
