The Prophet ﷺ said, "Whoever abandons the Friday prayer three times without a valid excuse, Allah seals his heart."
حدثنا أبو عامر حدثنا زهير عن أسيد عن عبد الله بن أبي قتادة
عن النبي ﷺ قال من ترك الجمعة ثلاث مرار من غير عذر طبع الله على قلبه
Its chain of transmission is hasan, because of Usayd, that is, Ibn Abu Usayd al-Barrad al-Madani, about whose memory there is some discussion, and his hadith is found in the Four Books. The hadith was narrated by Tirmidhi, no. 500, in the chapter on Friday, "What Has Been Said About Missing Friday Prayer," where he said it is hasan, and by Ibn Majah, 1125, in the chapter on establishing prayer, "Concerning One Who Misses Friday Prayer," and by Bayhaqi, 3/172. Haythami also graded it hasan, 2/192.
