Jabir bin Abdullah reported,

The Prophet ﷺ said, "I have been commanded to fight people until they declare that there is no god but Allah. Once they say it, their blood, their property, and their lives are protected from me, except for what is due by right, and their reckoning is with Allah ."

أن النبي ﷺ قال أمرت أن أقاتل الناس حتى يقولوا لا إله إلا الله فإذا قالوها عصموا مني دماءهم وأموالهم وأنفسهم إلا بحقها وحسابهم على الله عز وجل
