The Messenger of Allah ﷺ cursed the one who consumes usury, the one who pays it, the two who witness it, and the one who records it.
حدثنا هشيم عن أبي الزبير
لعن رسول الله ﷺ آكل الربا وموكله وشاهديه وكاتبه
Its isnad is sahih. The hadith was reported by Abu Dawud, 3/328, Hims edition, in the Book of Business Transactions, chapter on consuming riba. Tirmidhi, 3/512, number 1206, reported it similarly and said, hasan sahih. Ibn Majah reported it, number 2277, in the Book of Business Transactions, chapter on the severity regarding riba.
