I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, while the funeral bier of Saad bin Muaz was placed before them, "The Throne of the Most Merciful shook for him."
قال وأخبرني أيضا أنه سمع
سمعت رسول الله ﷺ يقول وجنازة سعد بن معاذ موضوعة بين أيديهم اهتز لها عرش الرحمن
Its isnad is sahih. Its narrators are Meccans, Abdul-Hameed bin Jubayr bin Shayba the Meccan and Muhammad bin Abbad bin Jafar the Makhzumi, the Meccan, both of them being trustworthy and virtuous. The hadith has already appeared at 9255.
