We pledged allegiance to the Prophet of Allah ﷺ on the day of Hudaybiyyah that we would not flee.
حدثنا يحيى بن حماد أخبرنا أبو عوانة عن أبي بشر عن سليمان بن قيس
بايعنا نبي الله ﷺ يوم الحديبية على أن لا نفر
Its isnad is sahih. Yahya bin Hammad is the son-in-law of Abu Awana Wadhah Yashkuri, and Abu Bishr is Jafar bin Iyas Abu Wahshiya. It is found with a similar wording in Muslim, 3/1485, no. 1858, in the book of leadership, on the desirability of pledging allegiance to the imam, and in Bayhaqi's Dalail, 4/137.
