When the Prophet ﷺ wanted to shave his head at Mina, Abu Talha took one side of his head and the barber shaved it. He then brought the hair to Umm Sulaym, and she would place it in her perfume container.The Prophet ﷺ used to come and take his afternoon nap at her home on a leather mat, and he would sweat profusely. One day he came as usual, and she began wiping up the sweat and putting it into a flask of hers. The Prophet ﷺ woke up and asked, "What are you doing, Umm Sulaym?"She replied, "Prophet of Allah, it is your sweat. I want to mix it into my perfume."

أن النبي ﷺ لما أراد أن يحلق رأسه بمنى أخذ أبو طلحة شق رأسه فحلق الحجام فجاء به إلى أم سليم وكانت أم سليم تجعله في مسكها وكان يجيء فيقيل عندها على نطع وكان معراقا فجاء ذات يوم فجعلت تسلت العرق وتجعله في قارورة لها فاستيقظ النبي ﷺ فقال ما تجعلين يا أم سليم قالت يا نبي الله عرقك أريد أن أدوف به طيبي
