The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to sacrifice two horned, white rams. He would mention the name of Allah and pronounce the takbir. I saw him slaughtering them with his own hand, placing his foot on their sides.
حدثنا عبيد الله بن سعد بن إبراهيم الزهري أبو القاسم قال حدثني عمي يعقوب بن إبراهيم عن شريك عن شعبة بن الحجاج عن قتادة
كان رسول الله ﷺ يضحي بكبشين أقرنين أملحين ويسمي ويكبر ولقد رأيته يذبحهما بيده واضعا على صفاحهما قدمه
