Usayd bin Hudayr and Abbad bin Bishr were with the Prophet ﷺ on a pitch-black night. When they left him, the staff of one of them lit up, and they walked by its light. When they parted ways, the staff of the other one lit up as well.Hammad also said, "When they parted, this one's staff lit up and that one's staff lit up."

أن أسيد بن حضير وعباد بن بشر كانا عند النبي ﷺ في ليلة ظلماء حندس فخرجا من عنده فأضاءت عصا أحدهما فجعلا يمشيان في ضوئها فلما تفرقا أضاءت عصا الآخر وقد قال حماد أيضا فلما تفرقا أضاءت عصا ذا وعصا ذا
