Haritha bin Rabi went out on the day of Badr as an onlooker, and he was just a young boy. A stray arrow struck him in the hollow of his throat and killed him. His mother Rabi came and said, "Messenger of Allah, you know the place Haritha holds in my heart. If he is among the people of Paradise, I will be patient. But if not, Allah will see what I do."He replied, "Umm Haritha, it is not just one Paradise but many gardens, and he is in the highest Firdaws."
حدثنا عفان حدثنا حماد يعني ابن سلمة قال أخبرنا ثابت
أن حارثة ابن الربيع جاء يوم بدر نظارا وكان غلاما فجاء سهم غرب فوقع في ثغرة نحره فقتله فجاءت أمه الربيع فقالت يا رسول الله قد علمت مكان حارثة مني فإن كان من أهل الجنة فسأصبر وإلا فسيرى الله ما أصنع قال فقال يا أم حارثة إنها ليست بجنة واحدة ولكنها جنان كثيرة وإنه في الفردوس الأعلى
