Its isnad is sahih. Abdullah bin Abdul-Rahman bin Muammar bin Hazm, the judge of Madinah in the days of Umar bin Abdul-Aziz, is a trustworthy and eminent narrator.The hadith was narrated by Bukhari, 4/200, in the chapter on virtues, "When the angels said, O Mary," and by Muslim in the chapter on virtues, 89, on the virtue of Ayesha, may Allah be pleased with her. Tirmidhi narrated it similarly, 5/706, number 3887, and said, hasan. Nasai narrated it, 7/68, number 3947, in the chapter on the treatment of women, on a man's loving some of his wives more than others. And Ibn Majah narrated it, 2/1092, number 3281, in the chapter on foods, on the merit of tharid.
